With its Asian flavors, this dressing is perfect on salads with bright veggies like shredded carrots, thinly sliced radishes, and cucumbers. To really brighten the flavors, consider marinating these veggies in a little lime juice, vinegar, and salt and pepper before constructing your salad. It’s a nice combination.

Ingredients

  • cup tahini
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup olive oil + 2 T sesame oil
  • 2 T soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 t honey
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 T fresh ginger, minced or grated
  • A few dashes of hot sauce
  • Water as needed to desired consistency

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the tahini, lime juice, sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic and hot sauce and whisk until smooth. If needed, add water a teaspoon at a time to reach the desired consistency. Taste and adjust honey, hot sauce, and lime.
